Phillipa came to life coaching as a result of an accident in 2013, which changed her life in a heartbeat. She could no longer identify herself in her old roles. After attending an amazing personal development seminar (PSI), she realised she was no longer lost and that her years of experience as a teacher of adults in their workplaces for 16 years and teaching secondary students English, English as a Second Language and Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) students workplace skills, she could use all this knowledge, along with raising five children to adulthood, in ways to assist others who had had their plans for the future instantly interrupted. After the accident, she created a charity, the Orange Sock Foundation, whose purpose is to assist those who have had workplace or traffic accidents and their families.
She has numerous mainstream qualifications including a Masters of Education (Workplace Education) and has written chapters of books and learning resources for large companies such as Ford, Nissan and Brumbys Bakeries, where she was the National Training Manager.
She also has several complimentary therapies and is a member of the International Institute of Complimentarily Therapies (IICT). She is also interested in working with clients who are wanting to explore the spiritual ways of combining these therapies and coaching together using crystals, reiki and angel essences. She is also trained in Acceptance Commitment Therapy and is passionate about working with those who feel stuck in their lives and want a better future where they are the best version of themselves that they can be.
She enjoys working with people to integrate as many of the forms of healing and coaching that most suit her clients’ needs.
